You now only have to put into cycle counter 2 (RS2) how many rounds are to be knitted.

You need no passage cards to make a length change in the sizes. You merely put in the required number of rounds in RS2 for the length.

Size alterations in the width are made by a new "FS" instruction.

(e.g.: 115 FS=5-142). For size alteration therefore only RS2 and FS need to be changed.

(Sintral also allows RS and FS to be memorised in the programme for as many sizes as you wish. Then for a size alteration only the reguired size is put in the cycle counter.

This technique will be explained later).
