Knitting with jacquard

Also in the jacquard area Sintral offers quite new possibilities.

Example for a jacquard input.

Line numbers here can also be omitted optionally:

1200 ....A....

1202 ...AYA...

1204 ..AY.YA..

1206 .AY.A.YA.

1208 AY.AYA.YA

1210 .AY.A.YA.

1212 ..AY.YA..

1214 A..AYA..A

1216 AA..A..AA

This diagram example for a jacquard input could be a 3 colour jacquard or a structure pattern.

Jacquard information is simply provided with a line number (1000-1999) and typed. Each 'colour' has its own symbol e.g.

. = GROUND COLOUR

A = 1ST CONTRAST COLOUR

Y = 2ND CONTRAST COLOUR

Lines need not be arranged like jacquard cards in go-not go information; this is done automatically by Sintral.

Altogether eight different 'colour' symbols can be used in one line.

These are:

. A Y * T I + O

The use of these symbols can be chosen by you, as you wish. We recommend:

. = Ground colour or ground for structured patterns.

A = 1 st contrast colour

Y = 2nd contrast colour

* = 3rd contrast colour

T = Transfer, or stitch transfer

(When you use the symbol 'O' as in October, be careful not to confuse it in the input with the figure '0' = nil).
